About Gemstone Putters . . . Gemstone putters, Hole-in-one trophies and tournament awards are manufactured in Kenai, Alaska. Most of the stones used in these finely crafted products come from the Cook Inlet basin located to the west of the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. Most stones used are gemstone in nature and are limited to the quantity available for the production of putters and trophies.
The development of the Gemstone products began in 1993 with local clocks and hole-in-one trophies. Putters were added in 1995 and tournament trophies were added in 1996.
Finish: All putters manufactured by Cook Inlet Stone Products are hand finished using up to eight coats of non-ambering polyurethane dipping finish.
USGA Approval: The mallet-type putter has been submitted to the USGA, has been inspected, and it has been determined by the USGA that these putters conform with the USGA Rules of Golf.
